FC Barcelona – The best team in the world!
I was surfing late one night when I got an email from a friend; ISW readers may know him as exposrip. It was a link from Soccerpro.com. Of course, being a Barca and Ajax fan, I had to check it out. Whenever exposrip sends me a link they’re always worth checking out. He asked me which one I would like to have for my birthday.
Soccerpro is an online store with soccer apparel from all kinds of teams from all over the world. Their inventory ranges from Premier League items to National Teams including Argentina, Italy, England, the Netherlands and Brazil. The inventory was so diverse and huge it literally took me a few hours to browse through it.
Naturally, with such a large inventory, I had a hard time picking an item. Why? Because I love so many teams from all over the world. I’m sure many would have the same dilemna!
Was I going for a soccerball? Or a Juventus hoodie? Oh no, perhaps I should go for the Arsenal warm up jacket! Oh look at this, they sell FC Barcelona apparel too! I needed a drink.
Now FC Barcelona of Spain’s La Liga has been my favorite team ever since 1992. When Johan Cruyff was coach during an era when having a foreigner on your team actually meant something other than being just another foreigner. Hristo Stoichkov, Romario, Michael Laudrup and Ronald Koeman were influential players who made a difference for the Spanish powerhouse back then.
FC Barcelona’s current roster is no less impressive with Leo Messi, Eto’o up front and Xavi and Iniesta backing them up. They currently play the best football in the world and I am hoping that Barça will reach the finals this year of the Champions League. It won’t be easy that’s for sure.
Just to support my team I decided to browse and purchase a Barcelona soccer jacket on Soccerpro.
The same problem as before persisted, what jacket was I going to chose? A red one? A blue one? After thinking it over for a few nights I decided to go for the Nike Barcelona Line-Up Jacket.
I ordered it, and while it said on the international shipping page that it could take up to 3 weeks for me to get it, I was happy to find it in my mailbox only 6 days after I ordered.
The jacket came well wrapped and when I opened it, it looked exactly as advertised. The Nike Barcelona Line-Up Jacket I chose is a stylish navy blue jacket. It’s a good fit and showing it off in town has not only caught the eye of many passers by, but it works with the ladies too!
Thanks for the birthday gift, exposrip!
They are a fantastic team. Do you think they can get past Chelsea after last night’s 0-0 draw?
Top site by the way. Really enjoy reading it. Would you be able to email me when you get the chance? There is something I would like to run by you.
Thanks a lot,
Thomas
Hi Thomas,
yes I still think they can win. I didn’t like the tactics used by Chelsea last night at all. The match was good in the first half. But the second one was a horror to watch.
More and more fouls were made and the match turned darker and darker.
I hope the return is going to be better. Chelsea will have to attack which leads to open spaces so that Barça can take advantage of that.
I will email you.
Oh come now my dear Manny. Chelsea did what they had to do. Realistically speaking, why trade punches with Barca? I thought Boswinga covered Messi well by the way.
Sometimes you need to get the RESULT; aesthetics should be secondary.
For all its genius, Barca had possession but did little with it.
Chelsea played cowardly with 9 men behind the ball and Drogba up front. The only players who were playing were Drogba and Cech.
I get it about the result, I just wished that it would be more attractive gameplay.
Thomas: I emailed you!
